BIO

Gladshot is a New York City band from Debbie Andrews and Mike Blaxill, two musicians who've gotten together to prove that literate, finely-wrought pop can spring from the combination of two quite distinct musical minds. Their new record, Burn Up and Shine, produced by John Agnello (who did the last Sonic Youth & Hold Steady CDs) will be out in Sept 2008.

Gladshot appears regularly in NYC as well as clubs and live radio venues throughout the Northeast. The band's songs have been featured on ABC, MTV, Oxygen, the WB network, and NPR radio and they've opened for such artists as Michelle Shocked, Head Automatica, Lo Faber Band and Corey Harris.
